Bobbie, was born Roberta Jean Amos at Coffs Harbour NSW Australia in 1939.

Due to her parents divorce Bobbie at the age of five was sent to live on a farm with an aunt and uncle just outside of Glen Innes at Stonehenge NSW.

Later on to another farm at Kangaroo Creek outside of Grafton NSW, then eventually to Grafton where she spent her school years and youth.

The early years of her life have inspired Bobbie in many of her paintings and writings. Though she showed a flair for art in her school years Bobbie didn't continue in the field.

It was in her forties after her second marriage broke down that she took it up again. Another marriage and divorce has resulted at the artist signatures being different on various paintings.

Bobbie has attended various art and writing classes over the years, she expresses her impressions on life through these mediums. Bobbie lives in Penrith, NSW where she continues to paint and write.
